Adventures of Kristen: November 2008

Jessica and Brent had their second son, Cash Isaiah, around 8:30 a.m. on october 29th!! I happened to be working the night she came into the hospital! And since she was having him at the hospital I work at, I got to come see her while she was in labor!! Made my breaks a lot more fun!! Funny enough....it was the closest night to halloween i was working...hence the halloween scrubs! And i'm pretty sure that i'm wearing the same scrubs that i posted pics of a year ago around this same time of year! ANYWAYS....cash was 8 lbs, 4 oz. with a huge head and a long body!! Look at his little halloween hat!! He came out so fast, so his poor little head and face were bruised up pretty bad. He actually already looks better in these than he did at first! The first few pics are from the day after he was born!

This is baby Cash today (on day 4)!! He looks much better already! He had to stay in the hospital a few extra days because of some jaundice, but they got to go home today!! Jess was so very excited to get home with both of her boys!!

Well, that's the latest!! It's been so great being close to jess and brent at this point in their lives!! i love their little boys so much and it's fun hanging out with them and getting to watch them grow up!!

Church is great and worship team has been so fun! All in all, things are going well!! Thanks for all the prayers! Love you all!

So I finally went to sedona, arizona: red rock country! I went with some friends from church! Actually, we went so that my friend morgan's boyfriend could propose to her there! It was a big plan and a few of us were involved in it. I was the one who had to make the suggestion we go since I had never been there and she wouldn't think it was a big deal! well, since that was how we went....she really had no clue! it was great! So not only was THAT exciting, but it was VERY exciting just being there and being able to hike a little bit! Not that i'm a huge hiker....haha...because i'm definitely not. BUT...it was so much fun and so beautiful! So...here are a few pics!!
