Las Noches de las Luminaries!!

My cousin Mara and I went to an art exhibit thingy in Phoenix and it was awesome! It's basically a really cool garden that is lit up with tiny candles during the holiday season! AND this year an artist named Chihuly who makes massive blown glass structures had his exhibit there with everything else! So here are some pictures!

So I climbed a mountain the other day!!! Nothing too hard, of course! haha...we didn't have to use ropes or anything! I hiked on Shaw Butte Mountain with some girls from work! Here are some pictures!

This is a tree on the hike that hikers randomly add ornaments to!! it's really cool looking! we forgot to bring one! maybe next time!

I was hanging out with jess, brent, and the boys the other day. Jess had her two boys and her niece to watch all day....so i went over to visit and help out! kinda chaotic...but very fun! here are some pictures!

Mariah Carey Christmas.....been out for years and is still selling like mad....it's excellent! always a classic during this season!

Also a new favorite....josh groban's christmas!! he has some good duets and whatnot...it's pretty decent!And last, but definitely not least, N*Sync Christmas!!! ALWAYS needs to be on the list of music to listen to during the holidays!! cheesy, yes. but great!

There are others that are great, as well....but those are some of my favorites that get busted out every Christmas!! So go make yourselves a big cup of hot cocoa (with some marshmallows on top, of course) and turn on YOUR favorite Christmas music! Trust me, you'll feel better! Love you all!

Work Bowl!!!

So we had a work bowling party last week! This was my first outing with co-workers, so kinda made me feel old. Not that people who work are automatically old, because i work and I am not old. However, the idea of "work parties", in general, makes me laugh and just emphasizes this new time in my life. So here are a couple pics from the night! I'm not that great at bowling, but it was still fun! The guy on the far right is one of our docs! It was fun that he came!

'tis the season!

yay!! it's almost Merry Christmas time!! A few weeks ago I was at home visiting friends and family before thanksgiving, so i have lots of pictures from that visit below! Also, I had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with my cousins out here in arizona! I usually NEVER hit the roads on Black Friday, but this year Mara decided we should go to a couple stores. So we did. We didn't even leave the house until like 9 a.m., but it was still pretty busy out! The line in Kohl's was ridiculous, but since they had every register open it actually went fairly fast! I am proud to say that I have the majority of my christmas shopping completed already! This is very unlike me, but it's nice to have a lot of it done! I even have some things wrapped!!! I DO, indeed, have my christmas lights up. I should probably admit that those haven't even come down since last Christmas, though! haha! Just my normal fire place ones! I love them! The sad news of this season is that i have to work christmas eve AND christmas day. I am not very excited about it, but i've come to terms with it since i work in the hospital and that's just the way it is. I am still finding myself in the christmas spirit regardless! Let the Christmas music begin!! Alright, well it is work time soon so i need to wrap this up! no pun intended :) Love you all!
